It's Wednesday...Do you Know Where Your Amazon UK Author Page is?

Are your sales noticeably softer on Amazon UK vs US sales? Did you just think (like I did #:0) that those people in the UK just have different reading tastes than US readers? Snorf! I'm such a doof at times. Anyway, I think I figured out why that might be.

I recently discovered that, despite the fact that I've spent a LOT of time fine tuning my Author Page on Amazon.com, the page didn't travel across the ocean to Amazon UK or DE (Germany).  I had NO author page outside the US. None. Nada. Nuttin.

In order to fix this problem, I had to go to Author Central UK: https://authorcentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/ , Join Author Central there, and recreate my page. Bio, picture, videos, Twitter connection...everything. I will do the same for Germany: https://authorcentral.amazon.de.

The other thing you might not realize is that your books' tags don't travel across the ocean either. You'll need to  go to each of  Amazon's other sites and add the tags for your books. If you do these two things, I'm guessing you'll see an uptick in sales in the UK and Germany.

Happy Sales!

Wow, I had no idea. I added it and may I say, thank goodness for google translator! I did the UK first and muddled my way through the German site. But it's done. Thank you so much for the heads-up!

HUGE THANKS! I wrongly assumed that what was on my Amazon US site was automatically on all the others. Really appreciate the info!
